New Art Lounge (16 Filellinon Street & Syntagma Square, Athens 10557) — Unlike some other rooftop bars in Athens, this one (located on top of the New Hotel) does not have a view of Acropolis, but another local attraction: Lycabettus Hill (Athen’s highest peak). New Art Lounge, living up to its name, also features original works by local artists. This upscale rooftop restaurant and bar contrasts with the more touristy Plaka district.
